Since then we’ve sold over 1000 pounds worth of Queens merchandise for the Club and, already this season, over 100 prizes have been won in our Junior Blue Club half-time draws.
Thanks to Kevin McCormack, our Groundsman, we also have an area which will be used for JB promotions in the New Year.
A big big thank you goes to our MatchDay Team, Christine Findlater, Nicola Power, Louise Currie and especially Lee Clark, Luke and Lewis Donald, our three Junior Blues who, not only help run the Trust counter, but have also started helping hand out the JB Matchday programmes and pencils to Junior Blues on Matchdays.
Our Matchday Junior Blue programmes are a new introduction this season. We think we are the first club in Scotland to produce something for home matches aimed specifically for young fans. It’s been a success so far with the best quote coming from a father of a Junior Blue who said ‘I had to take it off him as he was doing a wordsearch instead of watching the match!’ I think if it was the first half against Morton, who can blame him. As you’ve probably read in an earlier post, Edition 9 of our JB Club magazine, Blue & White is on its way to hundreds of addresses all over D&G and beyond. Over four thousand JB mags have now been sent out over the last 3 seasons and we are now working on Edition 10.
