Summer Soccer Camps |
The camps at Dalbeattie, Thornhill, Lockerbie and two in Dumfries (Kingholm & Terregles) were organised by Paul Menlove who was assisted by a number of Queens Youth Players. Jim Thomson and Sean O'Connor were also involved. Kids comments to follow........
"I really enjoyed the soccer camps at Kingholm and Terregles specially training with Stephen at Kingholm. My favourite thing was when we were to try and kick the ball at the coaches when they ran by." (Lewis age 8)
"I thought the queens soccer camps were brilliant at Terregles and Kingholm. I really enjoyed them. It was good to meet Sean and Jim. I enjoyed playing the matches and kicking the balls at the coaches. I cant wait till the Saturday morning schools start." (Ryan age10)
