Supporters High Street Stall

Saturday saw a trial run of a Supporters Stall on Dumfries High Street. Thankfully the weather was kind to us and things went well for a first attempt. Despite a limited amount of merchandise, two junior Blues season tickets were ordered, 3 home shirts, several Prize Draw tickets, weekly draw tickets, Trust membership forms, Action Group and Supporters Trust goods. Quite a number took Junior Blues forms away with them and some, having been informed that there was actually a game on at Palmerston that afternoon, re-planned their afternoon. Over £200 was handed over to Queens as a result but even more valuable was the visibility of the stall on the High St. Just talking to people, educating them on what we are trying to do and just listening to their gripes and suggestions was fantastic. All in all a good start and we'll be back there this Saturday so if you're in the town come along for a chat (and bring a pound or two with you :-) )
